Job Summary
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while performing preventative maintenance and completing assigned work orders. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components by following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints. Operate power tools safely, including grinders, drills, and saws, and eventually obtain certification to operate lift trucks, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts. Maintain equipment and do basic repairs as needed, ensuring all projects are completed in a timely manner. Fully support Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Programs. Available to work any shift including weekends. Must have own tools and three years of industrial maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to use power tools safely such as grinders, drill, saw, and drill press
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and installing bearings, sprockets, and chains
- Ability to learn how to operate lift truck, scissor lift and aerial lifts; and eventually certified
- Ability to diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
- Ability to follow manuals, schematic diagrams and blueprints using hand tools and test equipment to troubleshoot machines and equipment
- Must have own tools
- Fully support and participate in Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Programs
- Available to work any shift including weekends
- Be detail oriented
- Be well-organized
- Have good on-time attendance
- Be self-motivated
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a lift truck, scissor lift or aerial lift
- Electrical certification
- Programable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
- Welding and fabricating experience
