Job Summary
Champion safe work daily by following and coaching lockout/tagout (LOTO) and acting quickly on safety warnings to take corrective action. Spot issues early to decide when to pull equipment for repair, minimizing downtime while performing scheduled and on-demand preventive maintenance. Requisition and track parts and materials to ensure teams have what they need, then communicate across shifts and document issues in Maintenance and Production logbooks. Maintain a clean, organized maintenance area and store tools and supplies before breaks and at shift end. Be dependable by arriving on time, working required hours including mandatory overtime, and occasionally covering other shifts. Stay current on plant and safety updates by participating in meetings and trainings, while pitching in on other duties and projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience working with a variety of mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment
- PLC experience is required
- Automated technician experience required
- Must be able to sufficiently read, write, and understand English
- Punctuality and flexibility for overtime/occasional shift coverage required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
