Job Summary
Diagnose and repair machinery related to manufacturing, including plastic molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and robots. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing. Perform weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks, EHS inspections, and air leak repairs. Always maintain a "safety first" attitude by following OSHA practices, LOTO, GMP, and proper PPE protocols. Work directly with outside vendors to order spare parts and supplies. Schedule is 7:00am to 7:00pm with a 3-2-2 rotational work pattern. Requires five years of related manufacturing maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum of five (5) years related manufacturing maintenance experience and/or training
- 18 years or older
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- solid understanding of electrical controls
- hydraulics
- pneumatics
- excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- ability to work independently, self-sufficiently, and productively with little supervision
- ability to effectively communicate equipment malfunction and corrective actions to the oncoming shift and department supervisor
- ability to communicate regularly with co-workers in all positions to maintain a high level of customer service and respect plant wide
- ability to participate in teams to drive change regarding safety, quality, production, continuous improvement, and employee relations
- ability to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor
- ability to support fellow members in keeping the facility and its equipment clean, neat, and well-maintained
- Familiarity with basic computer functions and Microsoft office applications
- ability to provide own basic set of tools
- Active, multi-tasker, and can work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs
- Dependable and on time
