Job Summary
2nd-shift Maintenance Mechanic in a Kenly, NC manufacturing facility responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, including installation and repair of equipment and forklifts. Requires hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical maintenance, ability to troubleshoot CNC and PLC-controlled equipment (PLC experience a plus), strong communication, and teamwork. Candidates should be a quick starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks, propose continuous improvement ideas, and use MS Office tools to document work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial and forklift maintenance and repair
- Hands-on experience with repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
- Experience maintaining and repairing powered stand-up and sit-down forklift equipment
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with CNC and PLC equipment is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a team
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & Explorer
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed
