Job Summary
Conduct installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery, including programming PLCs and performing preventative and predictive maintenance. Write and maintain standard operating procedures and job safety analyses, while completing daily maintenance and repair logs. Communicate with operators and management, maintain and secure work tools, and clean and maintain the work area. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. Provide on-the-job training to new employees and order tools and machinery inventory parts. Work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, earning $30 to $40.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in HVAC
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in electrical systems
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in mechanical systems
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in plumbing
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in carpentry
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in piping systems
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in PLC programming
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Availability for Monday - Friday shifts
- Availability for occasional Saturday shifts
