Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and unplanned repairs on winemaking machinery while installing motors, gear boxes, and pumps. Utilize diagnostic tools and CMMS software to document work orders and scope repairs, reading blueprints and process diagrams to troubleshoot equipment. Execute calculations for volumes, flow rates, and thermal loads, adhering to OSHA standards, GMPs, and FDA regulations. Collaborate within a team environment to support the winemaking process at Columbia Crest Winery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, winery, food processing/ packaging facility or similar environment involving the responsibilities as outlined above
- Working knowledge and experience with VFDs, electrical motors, process controls (PLCs), lighting, alarm systems, fire systems, intercoms, and network wiring instrument calibrations
- Welding, fabrication knowledge and experience to include MIG, TIG, STICK, and gas welding process for stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, that would include cutting, welding, grinding and fitting
- Ability to walk, stand, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, climb, twist, push and pull heavy objects, pull/jerk objects, work at heights with fall protection equipment, and work at waist & below levels
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work extended hours during peak periods to include periodic shift work in various temperature climates (indoors and outdoors)
- Ability to read and write in English and understand various schematics drawings/ instructions
- Ability to work independently maintaining positive working relationships in a team environment
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies
- Must be able to work 4 days 10 hour shifts
- Must be available for Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday shifts
