Job Summary
Diagnoses mechanical and electrical malfunctions, installs or repairs damaged equipment, and performs preventative and routine maintenance on diverse medical equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Responds to emergencies including HVAC alarms and sewer back-ups. Maintains tools and a clean workspace, utilizing facility computer systems to retrieve maintenance history. Preferred qualifications include two years in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC fields and five years in building maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Has a valid NYS driver’s license and is qualified to operate facility vehicles
Desired Qualifications
- College or vocational training in electrical and/or plumbing and associated trades
- Preferred Two years in the electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC field
- Preferred Five years in building maintenance field
