Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment, performing changeovers, troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems, and installing or rebuilding equipment. The role requires proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical prints, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and pipe fitting skills. A successful candidate needs a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, ability to read schematics, and must demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. The position involves working 12-hour shifts with flexibility for weekends and holidays. OSHA compliance knowledge is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in related field
- Ability to read schematics
- Computer literacy required with proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledgeable on OSHA laws
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Must be 18 years or older
- Favorable background and drug exam
- Ability and willingness to work 12 hour shifts and flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Knowledge of MP2 software
- PLC experience
