Maintenance Mechanic II

Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic II position involves repairing and maintaining all production and facility equipment, installing new equipment, and ensuring compliance with preventative maintenance programs. Candidates must possess proficiency in mechanical and electrical schematics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and pipe fitting. Responsibilities include troubleshooting high-speed production equipment, applying basic electrical skills, and maintaining a safe working environment. Additional duties include performing changeovers, responding to line calls, and participating in daily maintenance meetings. Successful applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in related field
- Ability to read schematics
- Computer literacy required with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledgeable on OSHA laws
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Must be 18 years or older
- Favorable background and drug exam
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Knowledge of MP2 software and PLC experience
