Job Summary
Perform regular maintenance duties including small-scale carpentry, plumbing repair, and groundskeeping across all NeighborHealth locations. Execute mechanical preventative maintenance on systems and equipment such as belt and filter changes, while assisting Lead Mechanics on projects requiring specialized support. Operate various hand and power tools to complete mid-skilled repair and construction work, including ductwork installation, lock repairs, and HVAC servicing. Remain on call twenty-four hours a day on a bi-weekly rotation to address off-hours emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Technical training and/or at least three year's experience as a maintenance person
- Basic knowledge of plumbing
- Basic knowledge of H.V.A.C.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry
- Basic knowledge of electricity
- Basic knowledge of repairing equipment
- Good communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must complete a background check before beginning employment
