Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic II responsible for expert repair and maintenance of production equipment within the manufacturing facility. Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, engines, motors, cranes and other production-related equipment; documents and completes work orders; uses hand and power tools and precision instruments; ensures proper parts ordering; maintains clean work area and adheres to safety and ISO quality standards; assists with cross-training peers and supports management with additional duties as assigned. Requires ability to read blueprints, perform diagnostics, and handle overtime/weekend hours; typically operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving parts, welding odors, extreme temperatures, chemicals, and dirty conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years related experience
- Proven extensive knowledge of industrial powered equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes and hoists
- Advanced electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC troubleshooting skills
- Experience interpreting blueprints
- Basic math and computer skills
- Overtime, weekend hours and split shifts, as needed
