Job Summary

Maintenance Mechanic II on the 2nd shift responsible for diagnosing, disassembling, rebuilding, and aligning precision machine tools and equipment. Performs lubrication, part changes, and routine to complex repairs; conducts scheduled preventive maintenance; uses work orders to indicate required maintenance; follows 5S housekeeping and safety procedures; assists more senior mechanics with rebuilding and testing machines; reads blueprints and schematics; handles hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and welding tasks; operates a forklift; participates in training and adheres to HSE policies. Requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related manufacturing or trades experience, with certifications in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or equivalent work experience; ITAR compliance as needed and forklift/Hazwoper certifications are noted in Certificates section.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED; certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or general construction trades required or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing experience or general construction trades and/or training; intermediate hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC
  • Ability to read, interpret manufacturers drawings, blueprints and written instructions
  • Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
