Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic I, Second Shift, performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and reliable equipment performance. Uses hands-on mechanical expertise and basic electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and repair routine equipment issues with minimal supervision while supporting production goals and equipment reliability. Reads and interprets technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics; documents work orders in the MMS; adheres to electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures; collaborates with production to minimize downtime; emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
- Technical coursework, vocational training, or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
