Job Summary

Maintenance Mechanic I on second shift responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. Performs troubleshooting on bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and drives; escalates electrical issues when needed. Uses MMS to document work orders and maintain maintenance records; reads manuals and schematics; adheres to electrical safety standards and LOTO procedures; maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area; supports production goals and downtime reduction. Requires basic electrical knowledge, proficient use of hand/tools and ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Proficiency with MMS
  • LOTO adherence

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of electrical safety and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, schematics, and manuals
  • Experience with Maintenance Management Software (MMS)
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 100 pounds
  • Commitment to safety and ability to follow LOTO procedures
