Job Summary
Complete planned, preventive, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, sorter systems, and Powered Industrial Trucks. Troubleshoot and respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related issues to restore functionality quickly. Perform daily building and facility maintenance including repairs for plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, walls, dock doors, and dock plates. Coordinate with outside vendors and assist with equipment installations and repair projects. Identify and escalate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment issues before they disrupt fulfillment center operations. Follow all required safety and compliance procedures including lock out/tag out, PPE, and hazardous energy control. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in CMMS systems.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months+ experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
- 6 months+ experience with mechanical and electrical systems in an operational environment
- Working knowledge of AC/DC systems
- Ability to use a voltage meter
- Can read and comprehend technical manuals, work orders, and maintenance documentation
- Familiarity with blueprints and engineering specifications
- Basic working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Onsite work from Ontario FC daily
