Job Summary
Perform general building trades work to maintain building systems and equipment within the university. Responsibilities include routine and semi-skilled preventative maintenance, minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems. Provide daily maintenance support to building users and execute scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled work. A high school diploma or equivalent, 4-5 years of experience in building maintenance, relevant certifications, and basic computer skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 4-5 years of experience performing general building maintenance work
- Completion of a training program in general building maintenance including electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, and plumbing
- Universal EPA –CFC certification
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid driver's license
