Job Summary
Repair and maintain production and facility equipment while executing daily and weekly preventive maintenance programs. Respond promptly to work orders, conduct visual inspections to identify potential failures, and perform cleaning, lubricating, and greasing tasks to ensure optimum working order. Maintain tool and material inventory levels, communicate shortages to Foremen, and prioritize repairs based on importance and time requirements. Adhere strictly to Safe Quality Food, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practices while complying with all safety regulations and PPE requirements. Complete all required documentation accurately and report material or product issues to management.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient Mechanical Experience
- Electrical Experience
- Maintenance: 4 years
- Manufacturing maintenance: 3 years
- Standing or walking for extended periods
- Performing repetitive tasks
- Regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
- Use of required PPE
- Complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements
- Following Safety (OSHA) regulations and procedures
- Follow GMP's, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures
- Hands-on can-do mentality
