Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• •certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or general construction trades
• •Minimum of 1 year of related manufacturing experience and/or training
• •basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills
• •PLC experience
• •Ability to learn to read, interpret manufacturers drawings, blueprints and written instructions
• •Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
• •no facial hair a NIOSH Approved Beard
• •pass an annual respirator fit test
• •ability top learn Work Order program
• •ability to learn Word Processing software
• •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• •Ability to speak and present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization
• •Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• •Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
• •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists
• •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• •a working knowledge of safety standards related to machinery operation use (including lock out / tag out) and machine guarding

• •Ability to understand bearings, mechanical power transmission, chain drives, belt drives, gear drives, couplings, mechanical fasteners, packing and seals, pumps, conveyors, pipe fittings and valves
• •Ability to use a variety of machine shop equipment, including hand and power tools
• •Ability to understand welding principles
• •Forklift operation- safety and handling
• •Oil and Filtration. Types and safety
• •Metal scraping and waste disposal. Types and safety
• •Electrical – basic knowledge to lock and tag out equipment for repair
