Job Summary
Maintain and repair building systems across communities, including carpentry, electrical and plumbing work, flooring, painting, sheetrock, and appliance maintenance; perform preventive maintenance, unit inspections, and routine engineering checks in mechanical/boiler rooms; prepare vacant apartments for new residents and refresh units; document work orders and times in required systems; assist with grounds maintenance and snow/ice removal; respond to evening, weekend, and holiday emergency coverage; operate RealPage Facilities software; requires a Massachusetts driver's license; able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate hand and power tools, and work outdoors in winter conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts driver's license required
- Experience with building trades, mechanics, and building maintenance
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Two years of hands-on experience with post-secondary technical training (preferred)
