Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic position involves analyzing and repairing equipment issues related to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Responsibilities include assisting engineering in process improvements, completing preventative maintenance tasks, and maintaining inventory of repair parts. Candidates must be proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and general maintenance tools, and should demonstrate strong mechanical skills, particularly in reading schematics and blueprints. The role also requires welding and fabricating experience, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Overtime may be necessary, and forklift experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in electrical, control wiring, drives, and PLC
- Welding and fabricating experience
- Strong mechanical background with skills in reading schematics, PLC, and blueprints
Additional Requirements
- Heavy lifting required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work in hot/cold temperatures
