Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment to meet production, quality, and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting motor control circuits, performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications to equipment, completing necessary paperwork, suggesting production efficiency improvements, and maintaining safety awareness. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food, and possess problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Min. 2 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferably food
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, fractions and decimals
- Ability to stand duration of shift
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in manufacturing with food grade processing, bagging and packaging equipment
- TIG Welding
