Job Summary
Conduct ongoing preventive and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior systems, including inspecting walls, flooring, fixtures, and roofing. Perform assigned tasks such as replacing lighting, cleaning HVAC coils, and repairing office furniture. Complete hazard assessments, maintain compliance with safety codes, and utilize CMMS systems to update work order status in real time. Drive a company vehicle while adhering to defensive driving practices and vehicle safety inspections. Escalate issues to customers and managers promptly and attend required safety meetings. This on-site role in Atlanta, GA, supports client occupancy and operations through hands-on maintenance and due diligence efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance
- basic plumbing
- basic electrical
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift to 80 lbs
- Must be able to climb up to 30 ft ladders
- Must be able to perform frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving
- Must pass background, drug/alcohol test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
- Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled
- Must comply with all safety procedures
- Must recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
- Must maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws
- Must comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
- Must be able to perform defensive driving
- Must be able to update work order status in real time
- Must be able to utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo
- Must be able to perform vehicle safety inspection
- Must be able to escalate problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner
- Must be able to attend work and safety meetings as required
