Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic to perform prompt responses to resident maintenance work orders and conduct routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and common areas, including electrical, plumbing, lighting fixtures, and HVAC maintenance; requires a minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience, working knowledge of residential building systems, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication with residents and staff. On-site role at Highland Springs in Dallas, TX, with a compensation starting at $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building setting, or construction-related industry
- Working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances
- Working knowledge of HVAC
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
