Job Summary

Conduct electrical, welding, plumbing, and mechanical repairs on plant equipment, including troubleshooting filler equipment, tanks, pipes, and PLC programming. Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks while implementing continuous improvement activities and contributing to TPM teams. Monitor equipment availability, record non-conformances, and propose updates to existing maintenance procedures. Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safe, sustainable operations. Located in Greensboro, NC, this role offers a 2-2-3 rotating day or night shift schedule with a shift differential for night work.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience working in an industrial maintenance environment
  • 1 year of experience with electronic and PLC based applications in an industrial environment
  • 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
  • 2-2-3 rotating day shift schedule 6:00am - 6:00pm with every other weekend off
  • 2-2-3 rotating night shift schedule 6:00pm - 6:00am with every other weekend off
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high
  • Kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching above and below waist level
  • Working in a chemical processing plant with variable temperatures, odors, noise levels, elevated heights, and/or confined spaces

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 years of mechanical experience in a chemical plant
  • 4 years of industrial experience
  • 1 year of experience with tools, procedures and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Experience working with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging
  • Formal vocational training in an industrial engineering discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Experience working in a TPM environment
  • Experience reading and follow instructions
  • Experience tracking safety, quality, and productivity data
  • Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment
