Job Summary
Analyze test results, machine error messages, and operator information to diagnose equipment problems, then clean, lubricate, adjust, disassemble, and repair industrial production machinery including hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor systems. Troubleshoot malfunctions using voltmeters and testing devices, reassemble equipment after repairs, and operate newly repaired machinery to verify adequacy. Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new components, and assemble new equipment while entering codes to program computer-controlled machinery. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance, respond to production needs, and accurately document maintenance records and work orders into MP2 or other MIS/ERP systems. Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, safety regulations, and SQF guidelines. This 12-hour rotating 2/2/3 schedule runs from 5pm to 5:30am with Monday through Friday training flexibility required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience
- 1-2 year(s) prior industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment
- Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills
- Willing to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated work history
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to use hands and fingers, handle, feel, type

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read electric schematics a plus
- SAP experience desired
