Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic role supporting Saputo’s PM and repair workloads on dairy processing equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing machinery across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems; working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, ammonia system components, HVAC, and related instrumentation; utilizing CMMS to process work orders, PMs, and inventory; operating forklifts and aerial platforms; welding and fabricating stainless steel to industry standards; interpreting electrical prints and troubleshooting PLCs; and performing weekend/holiday rotations as needed. Required skills include ability to read/write English, lift up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance), and the ability to work flexible shifts; high level welding/electrical/mechanical skills are a plus.
