Job Summary
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of building systems and associated equipment. Execute preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis and diagnose or repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as assigned. Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork; mount, place, or remove systems and equipment per specifications. Purchase materials, maintain inventory, and accurately document work performed on tickets. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports of system status and completed work. Interface with building managers and customer representatives to ensure satisfaction. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Salary ranges from $33 to $40 per hour based on experience and license. EPA Universal 608 (CFC) license required; 3-5 years of commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience operating, maintaining commercial buildings in the last 5 years
- Requires reliable transportation
- Strong HVAC experience
- Hands on equipment experience including, but not limited to: changing filters, grease bearings, repairing flush valves, stop valves, change ballast/light bulbs
- Excellent customer service skills
- EPA Universal 608 (CFC) license
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
