Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment while adhering to OSHA standards, LOTO, and safe work practices. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within DCs safely and timely. Shift runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential. The role requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing, along with the ability to read electrical and mechanical building drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
