Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage. Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians while troubleshooting related assets. Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within the DCs safely and timely. Work Tuesday through Friday from 5:30p to 3:30a at a rate of $29.55/hr plus $1/hr shift differential. Read and understand electrical mechanical building drawings and schematics.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
