Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment, adhering to OSHA standards, LOTO, and PM documentation protocols. Report spare parts inventory and daily usage to leadership while assisting in training junior technicians. Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and timely. Manage expertise in PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing to support DC operational needs. Shifts run Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55/hour plus $1/hour shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
