Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects safely and on time. This role requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and reading electrical mechanical drawings. Candidates must have a two-year vocational certificate or associate's degree in a mechanical or electrical application, plus three to five years of experience. Shifts run Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
