Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and on time. Perform additional duties as needed to support operational requirements. Requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing, along with a 2-year technical certificate and 3-5 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
