Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment related to conveyance systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within the DC safely and timely. Read electrical and mechanical building drawings, perform welding, burning, and cutting, and operate specialized DC software. Work Tuesday through Friday from 5:30p to 3:30a at a rate of $29.55/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
