Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Train junior technicians on troubleshooting and repair procedures while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects safely and on time. Read electrical and mechanical schematics, manage PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems. Perform duties as needed to support daily DC operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
