Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and within deadlines. Perform duties as needed to support daily DC operational requirements. Requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Shift runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55/hour plus a $1/hour shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Must be available for Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
