Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO procedures. Document work in the asset management system and report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Execute projects with outside vendors and train junior technicians on troubleshooting and repair tasks. Requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and reading electrical schematics. Shift is Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding
- burning
- cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- pneumatics
- gear boxes
- PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
