Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment at the True West Beef processing facility in Jerome, ID. Responsibilities include repairing and sustaining machinery to ensure continuous production, responding to mechanical issues with production, diagnosing problems with management and team members, setting up and breaking down production line machinery, interpreting equipment drawings, conducting regular visual inspections, performing preventive maintenance and tests, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements, completing maintenance tasks per procedures and safety regulations, keeping management informed of area activities, maintaining a clean and secure work area, staying informed of maintenance requirements, and completing special projects as needed. Must communicate effectively, be able to read manuals, and have basic computer skills; able to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
