Job Summary
Repair and maintain shop machines and equipment while analyzing problems to recommend cost-effective solutions. Perform maintenance on motors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision. Climb to complete repairs, keeping work areas organized and adhering to all safety rules and PPE requirements. Read and interpret safety documents, operating instructions, and procedure manuals to write routine reports and repair orders for documentation. Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 to 5 years of related experience and familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and local codes.

- Ability to weld
- Experience with cranes
- Experience with hoists
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of repair and maintenance on Motors
- Working knowledge of repair and maintenance on Controls
- Working knowledge of repair and maintenance on Hydraulics
- Working knowledge of repair and maintenance on Pneumatic equipment
- Ability to climb to do repairs with no fear of heights
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, such as reports and repair orders
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to apply basic math concepts
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to in depth understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard and non-standardized situations
- Ability to learn things quickly
- Must adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
