Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities include performing changeovers and preventative maintenance on plant equipment, rebuilding presses and support equipment, safely operating hand tools and power tools, documenting maintenance activities using the CMMS system, assisting with new machine setup and testing, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure readiness and safety.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanic experience
- Technical degree or equivalent schooling/experience preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or machinist background
- Ability to read mechanical prints and troubleshoot motors and controls
- PLC knowledge is a plus
- Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
