Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production facility. Tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems from blueprints and manuals, using hand and power tools, performing routine preventive maintenance, inspecting drives, motors, belts, and filters, and dismantling equipment to replace defective parts. Requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, read schematics, and apply safety procedures (lock-out/tag-out); PLC experience preferred. HS diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred. The role entails working in varied conditions (dusty, hot/cold) and lifting up to 65 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of maintenance/electrician experience with at least two years working in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
- Ability to read schematics
- Experience with PLCs preferred
- Working knowledge of safety programs (lock-out/tag-out), hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, welding and mechanics
