Job Summary

Assist production in eliminating work center downtime through cleaning, preventative maintenance, and equipment efficiency optimization. Dismantle devices to remove defective parts, diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers and motors, and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Set up and operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts, while installing power supply wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatuses for new machines. Start and run machine tools to test performance, and initiate purchase orders for parts as needed. This hybrid role supports regular production and future factory vision execution across Third Street and Covington facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • three to 6 years related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Capability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Work Authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States
