Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems while adhering to OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and PM documentation protocols. Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely. Work Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Requires a 2-year vocational certificate or associate's degree in mechanical or electrical applications, 3-5 years of experience, and proficiency with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
