Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Execute projects with outside vendors safely and timely, utilizing expertise in PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Train junior technicians to elevate performance levels while troubleshooting related assets. Take on additional duties as needed to support the DC's operational needs. Shifts run Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
