Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on dairy processing equipment (pasteurizers, homogenizers, separators, pumps, conveyors, packaging machinery), diagnosing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, working with PLCs, motor controls, and automated systems, and maintaining instrumentation/control systems (temperature sensors, pressure gauges, flow meters, valves) while adhering to lockout/tagout and food-grade safety protocols. Duties include troubleshooting to minimize downtime, servicing steam, refrigeration, and water-treatment systems, and maintaining maintenance records in CMMS to coordinate repairs with production, with shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM at East Syracuse, NY.
