Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic to support beverage canning and packaging equipment. Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Maintains accurate maintenance logs and parts inventory, supports line changeovers/startups/shutdowns, and collaborates with Production and Quality teams to ensure equipment operates within specification; assists with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment or line improvements while following safety, GMP, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in food, beverage or packaging environments.
- Experience working with canning lines, fillers, seamers, conveyors, pumps, or packaging equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, chilling and steam systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem solving skills.
