Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic B performs skilled/semi-skilled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, including preventive maintenance, repairs with minimal supervision, testing of analog devices, and root-cause troubleshooting of low voltage circuits, VFDs, and motor control circuitry. Proficiencies include PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron), NFPA 70E compliance, boiler/steam knowledge (a plus), and CMMS-based work-order/recordkeeping. Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts with daily overtime and weekends; strong emphasis on safety, attendance, and a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school preferred.
