Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
Organize, facilitate maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment to ensure production uptime and resolve quality issues. Repair and rebuild components, install, modify, and fabricate systems to meet production schedules, while conducting routine maintenance on wiring and resources. Collaborate with production personnel to analyze equipment failures and clearly communicate maintenance situations across shifts to the supervisor, superintendent, and manager. Manage plant-wide operational accountabilities for quality and production goals while participating in continuous improvement for safety, quality, and housekeeping. This role supports the Byesville facility's continuous improvement efforts in a 7pm-7am shift environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years electronics troubleshooting experience in and industrial environment strongly required (desired)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong sense of urgency
Desired Qualifications
- PLC/HMI programming experience preferred
- Knowledge of A/B and Siemens PLC's strongly preferred
- Knowledge of AC/DC drives
- Knowledge in induction heating and welding equipment
- Knowlege in Servo Drive Systems
- Knowledge in automated packaging systems and/or robotics
- Knowledge in 3-phase power systems
