Job Summary

Maintenance Mechanic skilled in performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair on buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment (inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, seals, etc.), repairing or replacing broken parts, responding to emergency maintenance requests, assisting with renovations/remodeling (plaster/drywall, painting), maintaining maintenance records, and performing outside custodial duties such as snow removal. May obtain estimates for supplies and parts and order replacements. Maintains company vehicles and tools to ensure safe operation. Strong emphasis on meeting delivery dates, customer requirements, and safety; requires communication, organizational and time-management skills; OSHA compliance; and proficiency with hand and power tools. Requires a valid driver’s license and forklift (fork truck) certification."

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities; work under time constraints and comply with OSHA regulations
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Fort truck certified
