Maintenance Mechanic (All Shifts)

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime while performing preventative maintenance and periodic checks. Respond quickly to breakdowns across the facility, identify issues through observation and metrics, and partner with Reliability Mechanics to optimize performance. Reduce process losses by adjusting settings and standards, then support continuous improvement initiatives like TPM. Train Line Leads and Operators on equipment standards and autonomous maintenance, translating technical information into practical processes. Participate in daily shift meetings to prioritize work, maintain parts inventory, and complete maintenance reports and work orders accurately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with equipment such as conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking
- Knowledge of GMP and OSHA safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to train and support others on the production floor
- Successful completion of a drug and/or alcohol test
