Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and machine repairs in a timely manner, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain compliance with company quality standards. Key responsibilities include recording maintenance tasks, ensuring cleanliness in work areas, and promoting a safe work environment. Candidates should have 2-3 years of mechanical experience, preferably with food manufacturing background, and must possess technical training or equivalent experience. Certifications in industrial electric and PLC programming are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the mechanical field
- Technical training or electrical/mechanical technician degree or comparable experience
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Experience with programmable logic controller, instruments and controls is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial Electric Certification
- PLC Programming Certification
- Instrumentation Control Technician Certification
